2010 Men's Soccer: Pre-season Outlook
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The 2009 Men's Soccer team ended the season 10-5-4 and 6-2-1 in the Sun Conference with an overtime loss on PK's to Embry-Riddle in the conference tournament.  The Bobcats bring back a nice group from the 2009 roster  and added some speed on the outside to help attack in the 2010 season.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Miguel Fransisco Sanchez comes to STU from Colombus High School where he recorded 16 goals and 7 assists.  Sanchez was named 2nd Team All-Dade and played in the Miami-Dade All-Star Game.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- Jonathan Rico was born in Bogota, Colombia where he played club ball as a teen.  Rico is transferring to St. Thomas from Bellevue University in Nebraska. Jon tallied 10 goals and 1 assist in his time at Bellevue.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Marcelo Loor joins the Bobcats from Darton Community College in Georgia.  Loor was the team's captain for the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Gabriel Pessoa signs with STU Men's Soccer
Gabriel Pessoa will soon be a Bobcat and comes to St. Thomas from International Studies Charter High School. In his senior season, Pessoa tallied 11 goals and 8 assists.  Coach Felix Mats on Pessoa: "Gabriel is a good attacking player who should become an important asset right away."

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Bobcats received a committment over the weekend from Ben Noboa of Deltona, Fla.  Noboa was a 4-year varsity player and as 1st Team All-Area in his senior season.
