MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Lady Bobcats faced a tough Seton Hall team Tuesday and were swept 9-0 despite two tight singles matches involving Ydsia Quintero and Camille Allen.
All three doubles points went to Seton Hall with two decisions of 8-3 and one at 8-1. Seton Hall took the first two singles matches going away, but Quintero battled in for a point in the third match. Quintero loss the first set 7-5, but roared back with a 6-1 win in the second. Karina Cordero of Seton Hall won the final set, however, 10-4. Camille Allen also fought hard for the Bobcats stretching her match into a third set. Allen won her second set as well after surrendering the first, but could not rally a point and lost in the end.
The ladies fall 2-6 and will welcome Middlebury Saturday March 20th for 2 PM matches.
