The Men's and Women's Tennis teams will fight for conference titles this weekend in Savannah, Ga. St. Thomas is one of five competing team representing the Sun Conference in the tournament.
The Men's squad finished the season ranked 15th in the NAIA with a record of 10-5 overall and 4-1 in conference. STU was second to Embry-Riddle in the regular season, the Eagles finished with a perfect 5-0 conference record.
The Women's team began the season ranked 27th overall but faced a tough non-conference schedule that left them 3-11 record. The Bobcats' 3 wins did indeed come in conference play, giving the ladies the record they needed to qualify for the postseason.
Semifinal matches are set for Saturday April 17 with championship matches to be played Sunday April 18.
