St. Thomas University Athletics

A corporate partner of St. Thomas University since 2013, the Boras Corporation and its subsidiary Boras Sports Training Institute, joins the Bobcat Sports Hall of Fame with another elite partner, the Miami Dolphins. Headed by Scott Boras, a top rated baseball agent, the Boras Corporation is based out of Newport Beach, California and is the world’s premiere Major League Baseball Sports agency. The Boras Corporation represents over 175 players. As a partner with St. Thomas, the Boras Sports Training Institute built the state-of-the-art batting cages and upgraded the fitness center and now trains its top professional baseball players on the St. Thomas University campus. With this partnership, our student-athletes utilize the same facilities as elite Major League Baseball players such as Jose Altuve (2017 World Series second baseman for the Houston Astros) and Albert Almora Jr. (2016 World Series centerfield for the Chicago Cubs).
