St. Thomas University Athletics
St. Thomas University (STU) competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for 23 of the 24 varsity sports. The eSports team competes in National Association of Collegiate eSports (NACE).
The campus has a state of the art facilities including a gymnasium, baseball stadium, softball field, two soccer fields, beach volleyball courts, tennis courts, athletic weigth room, athletic training room, and the eSports room.
The following buildings are on the campus for the Bobcats in Miami Gardens, Fla.:
Fernandez Family Center (volleyball, men's and women's basketball, eSports room, athletic training room, athletic offices)
Paul Demie Mainieri Field at Frank R. Esposito Stadium (baseball)
Colonel Jacquelin J. Kelly Field (softball)
Bobcat Soccer Fields (men's and women's soccer and football practice field)
STUÂ Tennis Courts (men's and women's tennis, also practice site for the Miami Open)
Dominick Miniaci Beach Volleyball Courts (beach volleyball)
All facilities are open for rentals and are home to local high schools (Mater Lakes Academy, Immaculata La Salle, and more)
