Lorel Beckford recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead St. Thomas (12-9, The Sun Conference 7-5) to a 66-51 win over Warner (16-5, 6-5 TSC).The win was particularly sweet for the Bobcats,as just last week, they were taken down by the Royals in overtime by two points.Â

It marked the team-best seventh double-double of the season for Beckford who was one of four Bobcats to score in double figures.Â
Chuckie Becton and
Tim Sada each also scored 14 points, while
Michael Walker added 10 points.

STU controlled the game from the start and took a 37-21 lead into halftime. The 16-point lead was plenty as the Royals outscored the Bobcats in the second half, but were unable to get within nine points.

St. Thomas held Warner to 39% shooting from the field and just 3-of-14 shooting from beyond the arc.
