MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas (16-9, 10-5 TSC) defeated Johnson & Wales University (16-10, 9-6 TSC) during its senior night 68-52, at the Fernandez Family Center.

Leading scorer for the Bobcats was Armond Shoon, he recorded 15 points shooting 5 of 11 from the field. Following behind Shoone's performance were teammates Mikon Hewitt and Raheem Bowman. Hewitt contributed with 14 points while Bowman added a double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds) in the Bobcats win.

Johnson & Wales was led by Ricardo Suarez who scored 19 points, leading all scores for the evening.

The Bobcats held control throughout the entire match-up, never trailing.  STU led 34-11 at the half, and then scored 34 points in the second half. 

St. Thomas returns to the hardwood on Saturday February 20th at 4 p.m. vs. Ave Maria University in another TSC match-up.
