Congratulations and Good Luck to the St. Thomas University Men's and Women's Basketball teams who travel this week to the NAIA DII National Championships!
 
 
Below is info to help you follow the Bobcats throughout the national championships…
 
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL:

The St. Thomas University Men's Basketball Team, ranked 7th nationally in the NAIA DII Coaches Poll, won the Sun Conference regular season championship to earn an automatic bid to the NAIA Division II National Championships with a 22-7 overall record and a 16-2 conference record. 
 
The Bobcats were selected as one of four no. 2 seeds in the 32-team tournament that begins Wednesday, March 7 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  St. Thomas will play in the opening game of the tournament at 9:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. CT) vs. University of Michigan-Dearborn.
 
The game will be broadcast live (pay-per-view) on The NAIA Network  - www.NAIANetwork.com.  There will also be a Watch Party at the Fernandez Family Center where the game will be televised for Bobcat fans.
 
With a win in the first round on Wednesday, the Bobcats will next play on Friday, March 9 at 11:15 a.m. ET (10:15 a.m. CT) in the second round vs. the winner of the Briar Cliff-Oregon Tech game.  The quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, March 10 with the semifinals on Monday, March 12.  The National Championship Game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN3.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

The St. Thomas Women's Basketball team automatically qualified for the NAIA Division II National Championships with a runner up finish in The Sun Conference.  The Bobcats enter the national championships with a 21-9 overall record and a 16-2 conference record.
 
The Bobcats are a #7 seed in the 32-team tournament that runs March 7-13 in Sioux City, Iowa.  St. Thomas will play in the first round at 6:15 p.m. ET (5:15 a.m. CT) vs. Marian University (Ind.).
 
The game will be broadcast live (pay-per-view) on The NAIA Network  - www.NAIANetwork.com.  There will also be a Watch Party at the Fernandez Family Center where the game will be televised for Bobcat fans.
