st, 2019) – The St. Thomas University Men's Bobcat Basketball team (8-13, 7-6 TSC) defeated Johnson & Wales University (2-19, 2-12 TSC) 75-69 in Sun Conference action on Thursday night from the Fernandez Family Center.

- Aaron Dutcher scored eight of the first eleven-points of the Bobcats points, to build an early 11-5 lead over the Wildcats
- Back-to-back three-pointers from Amir Hill gave STU a commanding 12-point advantage at 19-7, with twelve minutes remaining in the first half.
- With five minutes remaining in the half, Kheron Millwood added a lay-up to give the Bobcats a ten-point advantage over the Wildcats at 28-18.
- Fotios Malelis made his first three-point bucket to maintain the ten-point lead, 34-24, with under two minutes remaining.
- Daejour Adderley added a lay-up to give the Bobcats their largest lead of the contest, 47-33, after five minutes of play in the second half.
- Back-to-back lay-ups by Bobcat big men, Dutcher and Millwood, maintained the Bobcat double-digit advantage at 53-42 at the second half media timeout.
- JWU cut the STU lead to just four points, 59-55, with five minutes remaining in the game following a three-point basket of their own.
- Millwood sealed the victory for the Bobcats, as the sophomore added another lay-up to give STU a 68-57 lead, with under a minute-and-a-half remaining in the Sun Conference contest.
- Adderley finished the game with two free throws to give STU a 75-67 lead.
