STU DEFEATS JWU IN TSC ACTION

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 31st, 2019) – The St. Thomas University Men's Bobcat Basketball team (8-13, 7-6 TSC) defeated Johnson & Wales University (2-19, 2-12 TSC) 75-69 in Sun Conference action on Thursday night from the Fernandez Family Center.

Game Notes
  • Aaron Dutcher scored eight of the first eleven-points of the Bobcats points, to build an early 11-5 lead over the Wildcats
  • Back-to-back three-pointers from Amir Hill gave STU a commanding 12-point advantage at 19-7, with twelve minutes remaining in the first half.
  • With five minutes remaining in the half, Kheron Millwood added a lay-up to give the Bobcats a ten-point advantage over the Wildcats at 28-18.
  • Fotios Malelis made his first three-point bucket to maintain the ten-point lead, 34-24, with under two minutes remaining.
  • Daejour Adderley added a lay-up to give the Bobcats their largest lead of the contest, 47-33, after five minutes of play in the second half.
