MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (December 31, 2019) - St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team (9-2) finished the first half of the 2019 - 20 season with a 100-84 win over Vermont Technical College (9-5) on Tuesday afternoon from the Fernandez Family Center.

- STU began the game on a 14-3 run, as five (Brown, Floyd, Strawter, Gilbert and Quinterious Jones) all scored in the first three minutes.
- The Knights came back into the game, rallying for a 9-0 run and putting the score at 14-12.
- Following the media timeout, Brown and Antoine Joe added back-to-back three-pointers to push the Bobcats ahead 20-15.
- Midway through the first half, a high-energy putback from Millwood gave St. Thomas a ten-point advantage, 31-21.
