BABSON PARK, Fla. (January 23, 2020) – St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball (13-4, 6-4 TSC) claimed victory in the Sun Conference Game of the Week against Webber International University (11-10, 4-6 TSC), defeating the Warriors 77-75 in the Sabbagh Athletic Center on Thursday evening.

- St. Thomas began the game on a 6-0 run, as Jones recorded all six points to begin the game.
- Gilbert became the second Bobcat to score, notching a three-pointer, extending the lead to 9-1.
- After five minutes in the first half, Gilbert and Brown added back-to-back baskets to put STU ahead 13-1.
- WIU cut the lead to single digits, 15-8, with a lay-up before Antoine Joe scored his first three points of the half.
- STU maintained the double-digit advantage midway through the first half, as Floyd converted a lay-up.
- Following the media timeout, Joe and Gilbert converted consecutive buckets for STU, pushing the lead to 25-9.
- Nick Strawter scored four straight points for St. Thomas, giving the Bobcats a 29-18 lead with 4:17 remaining in the half.
- Joe added four more points, putting his first half total at 10 to lead STU.

- Gilbert halted the Warrior momentum with 5-of-7 points for STU to get the lead to 42-37 for STU.
- The Warriors took their first lead of the game, converting three straight three-pointers again, taking a 48-42 lead.
- Back-to-back threes from Brown and Gilbert tied the game at 48-48 with 13:21 remaining.
- Strawter capped off a 7-0 run for STU, notching a three of his own, as the Bobcats lead 55-48.
- WIU once again took the lead, 59-58, with 7:27 left in the game.
- The duo of Brown and Gilbert reclaimed the Bobcat advantage, recording six straight points to put the score at 66-64, as STU called timeout.
- Following the break, Webber tied the game but Joe added a three-pointer to give St. Thomas a 69-66 advantage.
- Gilbert seemingly sealed the win by adding six additional points from the charity stripe, putting STU ahead 77-74.
- Brown sealed the Sun Conference Game of the Week win and the season split with Webber by stealing the ball and stopping the Webber comeback attempt at the buzzer.
