MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 30, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball (15-4, 8-4 TSC) earned their third upset win of the season, knocking off the No. 20 Southeastern University (17-6, 10-2 TSC) on Thursday evening from the Fernandez Family Center.

Gilbert scored 5-7 points to open the game for STU, as STU led 7-4.
Brown sank a three-pointer of his own, extending the Bobcat lead to 10-7.
Consecutive three-pointers from Gilbert pushed the St. Thomas advantage to 22-15, with 11:26 remaining in the first half.
The No. 20 Fire cut the Bobcat advantage to five before
Antoine Joe recorded a three-pointer to extend the lead to 29-21.
Adderley, Brown, and Strawter all notched three-pointers, as the Bobcats lead was 40-31 as the teams went into the halftime break.
Adderley opened the second half with back-to-back threes as the St. Thomas lead reached double-digits, 46-33.
Following a steal, Brown converted a fastbreak dunk and added an "and-one" free throw as STU took a 54-35 lead.
Strawter and Brown added consecutive three-pointers again, pushing the Bobcat lead to 62-41, midway through the second half.
Following an SEU timeout, Strawter recorded his third three-pointer of the game, as St. Thomas continued to dominate, leading 65-48.
A 9-2 run over 3:31, sealed the Bobcats upset victory from the FFC, 80-63.
