NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (February 20, 2020) - (RV) St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball (19-5, 12-5 TSC) won their fourth consecutive game, sweeping the season series against the Johnson & Wales Wildcats (7-18, 3-14 TSC), defeating JWU, 93-87 on Thursday night.

Game Notes
- After opening the game trailing 7-0, Adderley got the Bobcats on the board with two free throws.
- Gilbert scored eight consecutive points for STU, cutting the deficit to four, 16-12.
- Midway through the first half, JWU led by as many as twelve points, 26-14.
- Gilbert and Strawter cut the Wildcat advantage to five, courtesy of back-to-back three pointers, as STU trailed 33-28.
- St. Thomas took their first lead of the game, as Brown scored five consecutive points, putting the Bobcats in front, 45-42.
- Adderley closed the half by converting a lay-up, sending the game into the break with STU leading 47-44.
- Gilbert continued his dominance to open the second half, notching 14-of-16 points for the Bobcats, as STU extended the lead to 62-50 in the first five minutes.
- At the halfway point of the second half, Tyrik Waite added two points off a jumper, pushing the lead to 70-56.
- Waite gave STU their largest lead of the night, 15, sinking a three-pointer to give the Bobcats an 80-65 lead.
- JWU cut the lead to 82-75, rallying for a 7-0 run.
- Gilbert finished his career-best performance by slamming home a dunk and giving the Bobcats an 88-82 lead with 1:08 left.
- Adderley sealed the win from the free throw line, adding two points from the charity stripe and sealing the 12th Sun Conference win for STU.
