STU HOOPS DROPS SUN CONFERENCE OPENER TO FMU IN OVERTIME

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 13, 2021) – The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team (2-1, 0-1 SUN) fell to the Florida Memorial University Lions (3-2, 1-0 SUN) in the Sun Conference opener at home, 93-89, on Saturday evening.

  • Florida Memorial opened the game with back-to-back three pointers to take a 6-0 lead.
  • Will Brown III scored the first Bobcat points with a three-pointer to make it 6-3.
  • The Lions would go ahead up nine, with eight minutes left in the first half at 27-18.
