Game Notes
- The Bobcats opened the game with the first basket coming from Chris Whitaker on the jumper.
- The offense continued to roll gaining a two possession hold through the first five minutes.
- Warner then briefly flipped the board until STU regained it a minute later, on a Jahsim Floyd layup that brought the energy back to the Bobcat bench.
- The game then became close once again as the teams traded bucket for bucket.
- Warner snuck up and slowly gained distance in the final six minutes of the first half to take a seven-point lead into the half.
- St. Thomas was unable to cut the deficit in the second half as Warner would go on to hold a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game.
- Despite the tough loss, Dwayne Russell continues his streak making it nine straight games with a double-double with 10-points and 10-rebounds.
- Augustus Stone and Jahsim Floyd were the only other Bobcats to score in double-digits with 10 and 12 respectively.
