BOCA RATON, Fla. (January 21, 2023) – Saturday marked another milestone in the St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Swimming program, honoring the first seniors to be set to graduate in May 2023. The Bobcats celebrated five seniors in Nicholas Ruzza,
Migue Arroyo,
Liam Henry,
Troy Gardner, and
Julius Schmid. Gardner was one of the original members when the program started three years ago.

The team honored the seniors on their road dual against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Fla.

- Daniel Laureyssens and inigo Marina were the only two to capture a first-place finish in the meet.
- Laureyssens finished first in the 200-yard freestyle.
- Marina captured a top finish in the 200-yard breast.
- As a team, St. Thomas had two gold, seven silver, and two bronze medals.
- Laureyssens tallied the most team points with 13.
- William Birkett and Laureyssens were the only two swimmers to claim two top-three finishes.
