Serah Khanyereri Makes it Through Final Cut in Round Two

SILVIS, Ill. (May 24, 2023) - St. Thomas University Women's Golfer, Serah Khanyereri, has made the nationals cut to continue to compete in the final rounds of the national championship for the third straight year. The junior is currently tied for 21st overall, as an individual Khanyereri had to be in the top 40 to advance to the next rounds.

Khanyereri finished the second round a stroke lower than round one at 76. Starting the day on the front nine, Serah went +2 in and +3 out to finish the day +5. Overall, Khanyereri's score is +11 through two rounds of play.

Round two saw 11-pars and just one birdie on the course. The record is 12 pars in a round at nationals. The new totals are 21 holes with par and three birdies.

Round three has shrunk the field to 93 golfers from 153. Khanyereri will tee off at 9:30 a.m. CT from hole one again.
