MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 7, 2023) – The second half of the season is upon us as the St. Thomas Men's Swimming team competed in a tri-meet at the MDC North Aquatics and Fitness Center. The Bobcats took both duals over University of Saint Thomas (TX), 138-25 and Ave Maria University, 135-46.

• 200 Medley Relay – Matt Mizell, Adam Conrad, Steven Aimable, William Birkett
• 200 Free Relay – William Birkett, Kalou Aimable, Steven Aimable, Nestor Montero
• 50 Free - William Birkett
• 100 Free – William Birkett
• 200 Free – Matt Mizell
• 1650 Free – Eryk Elizondo
• 100 Back - Steven Aimable
• 100 Breast – Adam Conrad
• 100 Fly – Isaiah Jimenez
• 400 IM – Nestor Montero

 
Dual Notes

• St. Thomas took the top spot in 10 of the 11 events.
• The team took first place in both relays.
• Montero scored the most points for the team placing in all four events competed.
• Birkett had the most wins with four, two individuals and two relays.
• Kalou Aimable hit a personal best in the 400 IM with a 4:47.62 time.
• Montero had a personal best in the 100 Breast with a 1:01.41 finish.

St. Thomas will continue through the dual format taking a trip to Winter Park and take on NCAA Division II Rollins on January 13^th.
