MARIETTA, GA: The Bobcats kicked off their 2024 -2025 campaign at the Ken Woods Memorial Classic on Friday night. The road trip began by taking on the Life University Running Eagles at their home gym. First year Head Coach Zach Moss's squad held on for the majority of the first half, but the Running Eagles 3 point shooting enabled them to pull away as the game approached half time, finding themselves in a 10 point deficit. 

The Running Eagles continued to show a strong display from beyond the arc in the second half, shooting a total of  44.8% from behind the line, with their largest lead being 18. The Bobcats then came back, and briefly held the lead with 12:45 remaining in the second half. 

Junior Esteban Lluberes, had the hot hand for the Bobcats. The Miami Dade College transfer finished with 29 points, but the effort was not enough as Coach Moss's squad fell 75-91, in their first game of the season. 

St, Thomas will look to split on their first trip of the season, as they take on Bryan College tomorrow at 11AM.
