KINGSPORT, TENNESSEE (NOVEMBER 29, 2024) - The St. Thomas University men's basketball team secured a decisive victory over Milligan University on Wednesday night. The Bobcats delivered an outstanding performance, claiming the win with a final score of 89-75.

Senior Dalon Dean was the standout performer of the night, lighting up the scoreboard with a team high of 34 points. Dean's dynamic play on both ends of the court kept Milligan's defense on its heels, showcasing his ability to dominate from beyond the arc and in the paint. His leadership and clutch shooting played a pivotal role in maintaining the team's momentum throughout the game.

Joining Dean in the spotlight was fellow junior Esteban Lluberes, who contributed an impressive 17 points. Lluberes' consistent offensive presence and sharp decision-making were instrumental in breaking through Milligan's defensive schemes. Together, Dean and Lluberes set the tone for a well-rounded team effort that kept the Bobcats in control. 

The Bobcats will look to continue their win streak against Shawnee State tomorrow, November 30th,  for game 2 of "The Show" in Kingsport.
