March 29, 2025 – On a windy, wet afternoon at St. Thomas University, the Bobcats delivered a statement performance, dismantling UCF 77-0 in front of an energized home crowd. With drizzle falling before and during the game, conditions were tricky, but STU thrived in the challenge, putting on a ruthless display of attacking rugby.

From the opening whistle, the Bobcats picked up exactly where they left off against FAU, immediately applying pressure on the Knights' defense. As has become customary, STU struck within the first five minutes, with Maximo Testero opening the scoring. The early breakthrough set the tone for the half, as the Bobcats repeatedly sliced through UCF's defensive line. Further tries from Testero, Mapani, Nokutenda (twice), and Fernandez saw the home side take a commanding 32-0 lead into halftime.

Despite the rain persisting, the second half was more of the same—pure dominance from St. Thomas. The Bobcats showed no mercy, adding another wave of tries from Mapani (three), Ndhlela, Phillips (two), and Castellanos. The final whistle blew with the scoreboard reading 77-0, capping off a flawless display of attacking rugby.

With this emphatic victory, St. Thomas University cements its place at the top of the conference, securing a home semifinal against USF on April 5.
