MIAMI GARDENS, FL – St. Thomas University Men's Lacrosse is proud to announce its inaugural Prospect Weekend, taking place on Saturday, October. 18, 2025. This landmark event will give high school student-athletes an in-depth look at the STU campus, athletic facilities, and the culture of the Bobcat lacrosse program. Under the leadership of Head Coach Matt Blamey, the newly launched NAIA varsity program is inviting prospects to experience firsthand what it means to be part of this historic beginning in beautiful South Florida.

"We are thrilled to welcome the first generation of future STU lacrosse players to campus for this historic event," said Coach Blamey. "This weekend offers recruits the chance to see our tremendous facilities, explore our diverse academic offerings, and compete on the field with our coaching staff. While we can describe the unique opportunity we're building, the only way to truly understand it is to experience it. This is the starting point of our program's legacy, and we're looking for the players ready to help us build it."

Weekend Schedule Highlights

· Meet and greet with Coach Blamey and the STU coaching staff

· Guided campus and athletic facilities tour

· Q&A with STU Admissions

· Collegiate-level drills, skills sessions, and scrimmaging

· Strength training in STU's state-of-the-art athletic performance center

Event Details The cost to attend is $35, which includes lunch and an official St. Thomas University Men's Lacrosse shooter shirt.
