Miami, Fla. - This weekend, Men's Swimming & Diving finished third of three teams at the TYR Fall Classic hosted by Florida International University. The team results were:

On day one of the event, the Bobcats finished second of the three racers in all three finals of the 200-yard freestyle. Mert Basaran finished second in the A final with a time of 1:46.44, and Aldo Pedroza Vargas and Karl-Wilson Aimable finished 10th and 18th, respectively. Aldo Zepeda finished second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.20.
On day two, the Bobcats finished first in an event for the first time this season. Eric Risland won the 200-yard IM A final with a time of 1:56.91. Istavan Akos Besenyi won the B final of the 200-yard IM as well. Flynn Smith finished second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:54.40.
The Bobcats will return to action on Friday, October 16, as they will travel to face Indian River State College. The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 am in Fort Pierce, Fla.
