Babson Park, Fla.. – Opening Appalachian Athletic Conference play on Tuesday evening against Webber International University in a rematch of the 2025 Conference Championship match, the No. 3 St. Thomas University Men's Volleyball Team swept the Warriors (25-10, 25-22, 25-20)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Bobcats scored the opening two points of the match and never trailed in the opening stanza, quickly creating a double-digit advantage at 19-9
• Trailing late in the second set 22-21, the Bobcats scored four-straight to move one stanza away from clinching the match.
• STU raced out to a 5-0 lead in the third frame and maintained the advantage for the duration of the set.

 
NOTEWORTHY:

• Gabriel Negrao tallied nine kills in two sets on a .533 hitting percentage, serving two aces.
• Rafael Obrusnik dished out 30 assists.
• Cameron Gray added nine digs.

 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Bobcats ended the match with 37 kills on a .342 hitting percentage; Webber tallied 29 on a .067 clip.
• St. Thomas served nine aces while the host recorded one.
