Miami Gardens, Fla. - After leading the seventh-seeded St. Thomas University Men's Volleyball Team to their second-straight National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championship, Kaelen Ingram and Gabriel Negrao were honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with All-American status via First Team and Honorable Mention respectively.
Earning First Team honors for the second-consecutive season, Ingram has been one of the top offensive players in the NAIA during the 2026 campaign behind 3.88 kills per set which ranks 12th while his .367 hitting percentage places 23rd. The back-to-back Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the year eclipsed 20 kills six times, capped by 25 kills at Reinhardt on Mar. 21 while recording a .769 hitting percentage against Warner on Feb. 7. He is one of four student-athletes in the NAIA to average over 3.50 kills while hitting above .350.
Earning Honorable Mention, Negao enters the postseason with a kills per set rate of 3.11 on a .301 clip, adding 1.41 digs. He set his season-high in kills with 19 against Campbellsville on Jan. 24 while boasting a .769 hitting percentage against Carolina on Feb. 27.
The Bobcats begin play in the NAIA National Championship on Wednesday, April 29 against William Penn with first serve set for 2:00 pm Eastern Time.
