Adrian White was named St. Thomas University men’s basketball lead assistant coach in August 2017. 

He served one year as an assistant coach prior to taking over the lead assistant role. White is responsible for offensive scouting and strategy, in-game play calling, player development, recruiting, academic mentoring and administrative duties. 

In 2017-18, White helped lead St. Thomas to a record of 23-8 overall, 16-2 in the Sun Conference, winning the conference regular season title. The Bobcats finished the season ranked 8thin the country. The Bobcats advanced to the sweet sixteen of the NAIA Division Two National tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; finishing top ten in the country. Taking over the responsibility of the offense, White coached a team that ranked 5th in the Nation in Field Goal percentage after timeouts, 13th in division two overall field goal percentage, 16th in division two in assists per game, also top 25 rankings in three point percentage and total assists. White helped coach Raheem Bowman to receive 3rd team all-American and First team all-conference honors while Tim Sada, breaking the school record for three pointers made and Darwin Trotman having a breakout season both receiving Second team all-conference honors. As well as coaching Mikon Hewitt to reach over 500 assists and winning Conference defensive player of the year back to back. 

In 2016-17, White began his coaching career and helped coach St. Thomas to a record of 20-9 overall, 11-5 in the Sun Conference, good enough for 4th overall. St. Thomas beat the eventual National Division Two Champions, Union College, early in the season earning a number four ranking in the country. Raheem Bowman, who ranked 3rd in the nation in offensive rebounding, received honorable mention all-American and first team all-conference honors. Armond Shoon and KristersZeidaks received second team all-conference honors; while Mikon Hewitt who was second in the nation in steals per game, 5th in total steals and 6th overall in assists per game, was named Defensive Player of the year in the Sun Conference. 

White played in college at rival Sun Conference School, Florida Memorial University, where he was a two year captain and starter. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Public Relations in 2013.
