Jordan Heldreth joined the St. Thomas University football staff in May of 2026 as the Bobcats’ Offensive Line Coach, bringing a proven track record of developing championship-caliber offensive lines, producing All-Conference performers, and building some of the most productive rushing attacks in the country.
Heldreth arrived at St. Thomas following three seasons as the Offensive Line Coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, where his position group developed into one of the strengths of the Fire program. During his three seasons at SEU, Heldreth mentored nine All-Conference offensive linemen, an All-American, and the 2024 Sun Conference Freshman of the Year.
Behind Heldreth’s offensive line, Southeastern produced a top-10 rushing offense nationally in each of his final two seasons. His units became known for their physicality, consistency, and ability to control the line of scrimmage, helping establish the Fire as one of the premier rushing attacks in the NAIA.
Heldreth’s impact at Southeastern extended beyond the offensive line room. Following the conclusion of the 2025 season, he was elevated to Interim Head Coach, providing leadership and direction for the program during a period of transition. The role expanded his experience in program management, staff leadership, player development, and the day-to-day operation of a collegiate football program.
One of Heldreth’s most productive units came during the 2024 season. The Fire offensive line helped power the Sun Conference’s top-ranked rushing attack and finished No. 7 nationally in rushing yards per game. The unit also surrendered just 11 sacks, averaging only 1.2 per game, after the offense had allowed 28 sacks prior to Heldreth taking over the position group. Four Southeastern offensive linemen earned All-Conference honors that season, while the unit also featured the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year.
Before returning to Southeastern, Heldreth served as Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach at Flagler Palm Coast High School in 2022. Under his direction, FPC developed one of Florida’s most productive rushing attacks, earned a berth in the FHSAA postseason, and captured just the fourth district championship in the program’s 50-year history.
In 2021, Heldreth served as Associate Head Coach and Offensive Line Coach at Lake Gibson High School. The Braves featured one of Florida’s premier rushing attacks, leading the state in rushing yards, and advanced to the state semifinals.
Heldreth spent the 2020 season at NCAA Division II Lake Erie College, coaching tight ends and assisting with the offensive line. During his time with the Storm, he mentored All-Conference tight end Josh Hufstetler.
In 2019, Heldreth served as the Offensive Line Coach at Atlantic High School in Port Orange, Florida. His offensive line helped power one of the state’s top offenses as Atlantic completed a dramatic program turnaround. After finishing 0-10 in 2017, the Sharks improved to 8-4 in 2019, earned their first playoff victory since 1996, advanced to the second round of the FHSAA postseason, and were recognized as Team of the Year in their classification.
Heldreth began his coaching career at his alma mater, Southeastern University, in 2018 as a Graduate Assistant and Assistant Offensive Line Coach. That season, he helped the Fire capture a conference championship.
Prior to entering the coaching profession, Heldreth was a four-year starter on Southeastern’s offensive line and a member of the program’s inaugural team. From 2014-18, he developed into one of the most decorated offensive linemen in program history. As a senior in 2018, Heldreth earned AFCA, Associated Press, and NAIA All-America recognition. He was also a three-time First Team All-Conference selection from 2016-18.
In 2017, Heldreth anchored an offensive line for a Southeastern offense that averaged 55.1 points and 557.4 yards per game, establishing itself as one of the most productive offenses in college football.
Heldreth is joined by his wife, Samantha, and their daughter, Oakley.
