Miami Shores, FL – The St. Thomas University women's soccer team 3-11-1 (2-6 in the Sun Conference) lost to Barry University (9-6-1) for the second time in two weeks 3-1. Lotta Vartia scored for the Bobcats on a free kick from 19 yards away.
The game began with Denisse Montero in goal, she played 68 minutes and allowed the first two goals while saving four. Maria Mora was brought in for the remaining 22 minutes, she allowed one goal and made one save.
The Bobcats will play their next game, October 29 at home against Palm Beach Atlantic University at 4 PM. The career accomplishments of Maria Mora and Frances Brlit will be recognized for senior day before the game.
