STU Volleyball drops two

Babson Park, Fl- STU volleyball (11-18, conf. 7-7) drops two matches two Webber International University (25-9, 12-2). The first match scores were 26-24, 25-17, 25-15. The second game scores were 25-12, 25-20, 25-17. The bobcats did not attack with efficiency as they only recorded 51 kills on two matches with .040 hitting average. The bobcats could not pass well and as a result did not find their rhythm as no one had double digits offensively, Adriana Montilla (Jr. OH) recorded 7 kills in the first match (season low) and 8 kills in the second, she also had 19 digs throughout both matches. Karla Vargas (Soph. RS/MH) added 10 kills in total for the 2 matches. Fernanda Neves struggled chasing after passes and had 36 assists during both matches. Bobcats are now 11-18 overall and have finished regular season conference play with a .500 record at 7-7, this leaves STU in fourth place and therefore a participant in the Sun Conference Tournament which takes place Nov. 14 and 15th in Savannah, Ga. STU Volleyball has one more stop to make before heading to the playoffs vs NCAA Div II member Barry University @ North miami, Nov. 8 at 4 P.M.
