Miami Shores, Fla.- The Lady Bobcats traveled a few miles east to face the Buccaneers of Barry University Tuesday evening. Barry's 4 goals on 18 shots was simply too much for the Bobcats.
The Buccaneers scored their first goal in the 16th minute and it took only 4 minutes for Barry to strike again. Melissa Madrid of Barry scored the first from inside the six while Michelle Tarasuik added the second after a long pass from Steph Day. Tarasuik scored again in the 37th minute, leading the Lady Bucs into halftime with 3-0 lead.
Bobcat keeper, Ariana Lorenzo, surrendered three goals while only recording one save.
Denisse Montero took over in the second half, giving up only goal and making eight saves. The Bobcats fall to a record of 2-3. The ladies will travel to Thomasville, Ga. on Friday for a 5:30 game against Spring Hill College.
