MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.-  Antonio Jones led the Bobcats in a close game after being down 19-points in the second half, but STU fell in the end, 84-89.

The Bobcats held a lead for seven minutes in the first half but surrendered it and never led again.  The Warriors got hot midway through the period and rode a 13-point lead into the locker room.  Jones and Preston Jackson led the Bobcats with 10 points each.

The Warriors added to their lead early in the second half, up 19 with seventeen to play.  The Bobcats stepped up their defense and were able to force fouls so they could score easy points from the free-throw line.  STU chiseled the lead down to 2 with three minutes to go due to very poor free-throw shooting from the Warriors, 59 percent for the game.  Missed shots down the stretch eliminated the Bobcats in the end and they fall to 4-10 on the season.

Jones continues to lead the country in scoring, with 31 Friday night, while Jackson and Tracy Razz provided support.  Jackson and Razz had 17 and 11, respectively.  Anthony Peay also scored 12 off the bench.  The Bobcats will go to Northwood Thursday for a 6 PM matchup.
