MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- The Men's Basketball team welcomed the Johnson & Wales Wildcats to the Fernandez Center Tuesday night for continued conference play.  STU got their fifth win of the season, trumping the Wildcats 64-57.

JWU jumped out to an early 5-point lead just minutes into the first half, but the Bobcats warmed up and took the lead with nine minutes remaining before the half.   Atrocious shooting by both teams late led to zero points being scored in the final three minutes of the opening period.  STU held a 25-19 lead at the break.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Antonio Jones and Kristaps Brencans buffed the Bobcats' lead to 12 not even a minute-and-a-half into the second period.  From here, the Bobcats held on to a comfortable lead despite the Wildcats' many attacks.  In the end, STU came out on top with their first win in the Sun Conference for 2009-2010 season.

Jones led the Bobcats with 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while Tracy Razz had a great outing with 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.  STU improves to 5-10 on the season and 1-4 in the Sun Conference.
