MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Bobcat Volleyball team continued its hot streak this week with wins over Ave Maria, 3-0, and Webber Int'l, 3-2.  STU improves to 9-2 on the season and 8-2 in the conference.

The Bobcats welcomed the Ave Maria Gyrenes to campus Tuesday for a conference match.  STU handled the Gyrenes easily in straight sets and gave Ave Maria their thirteenth loss of the season.  St. Thomas beat Ave Maria in nearly every statistical category and took their eighth win of the season.

Friday night, STU welcomed Webber Int'l to the Fernandez Center.  St. Thomas jumped out to a hot start and took the first two games 25-19 and 25-20, respectively.  The Warriors racheted up their defense and took the next two games, 25-22 and 29-27, respectively.  The match seemed to be at a standstill in the final game until the Warrior's server hit the final point into the net and the Bobcats came out victorious.

The Bobcats will welcome Warner to campus Saturday for a 2 p.m. match.
