STU Women's Soccer only need one goal to top Southeastern

 Miami Gardens, Fla. .- This Saturday St. Thomas University's women's soccer team beat conference opponent Southeastern University Fire at Bobcat Field. The final score was 1-0.

 
The Bobcats improve to 6-5-1 overall on the year. The attack was pretty even of both sides, with STU leading the way with 13 shots and Southeastern University with 7. No goals were scored in the first half. Toward the end of the second half, #12 Alicia Gallo scored STU's first goal of the evening with 14:46 remaining on the clock. The goal was assisted by #19 Danielle Smith. 

The defense for the Bobcats was lead by #1 Ariana Lorenzo with 6 saves for the match. For the Fire #77 Kaycee Martin finished with 3 respectively.


The Bobcats return to action on Friday, Oct. 16 at Webber International. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m, come cheer on the Bobcats!
