DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The St.Thomas Women's Soccer Team went to #13 Embry-Riddle Sunday for a conference match. The Bobcats came up short, losing 3-1.

STU surrendered two goals early in the first half and struggled to bounce back.  Embry-Riddle added their third goal of the match ten minutes in to the second half, nearly putting the game out of reach.  Sara Mira scored the Bobcats' only goal just minutes later, but STU could not find the net for the remainder of the game.

Arianna Lorenzo played keeper for the Bobcats and recorded five saves.  The Bobcats were outshot 15-8; however, five of those shots were put on frame. Mira led St. Thomas with four shots and Amanda Belarmino assisted on her goal.

St. Thomas returns to action Friday, October 8th as they head to Northwood for a 3 p.m. match.
