WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Bobcat Volleyball team has had an outstanding season so far and took their game against a greater level of competition as they headed to Palm Beach Atlantic Tuesday.  St. Thomas came up a bit short and were shutout in three straight games.

Betina Schmidt led the Bobcats with 11 kills; however, the PBA Sailfish tallied 44 kills for the match compared to just 23 from St. Thomas. The Sailfish also beat STU in assists, 40-22, and digs, 48-34.

Angie Ardiles led STU's defensive effort with 14 digs, but the Bobcats just didn't have enough to beat the Sailfish and fell 25-13, 25-21, 25-13.

St. Thomas maintains their second place position in the conference with a 9-2 record (10-3 overall).  The Bobcats will play four matches this weekend in the Clearwater Christian Invitational in Clearwater, Fla.
