MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - STU Women's Basketball falls in close game against Cardinal Stritch University. The game went into overtime as CSU won 69-63 over the Bobcats.
#12 Nickerline Montina led the way for STU with twenty-two points three rebounds and four assists. #2 Maddie Cummings fueled the offense in the second half with eighteen points total and four three pointers made. Even though the Bobcats came up short, the game was hard fought and physical the entire way.
CSU's #42 L. Lawrence finished with a double-double and four blocks to lead them to victory. #4 M. Herrera also helped finishing with sixteen points and three assists.
The Bobcats fall to a record of 4-6. The Women's Basketball team will not see action again until January 3rd,2011 when they face Emmanuel College at 6 pm. Come cheer on the Bobcats.
