MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The Bobcats welcomed conference and crosstown opponent, Florida Memorial to the Fernandez Center Friday night. STU dominated the competition and took the match in straight sets for the third straight time this season.
The Bobcats won each set 25-12, and controlled the match from the opening serve. STU doubled the Lions up in kills, 36-18, while Florida Memorial tallied 22 errors for the match.

Ashley Gutierrez, and
Nicole Molander-Barraza led the attack with 8 kills apiece.
Defensively, STU recorded 40 digs with 11 from Schmidt as compared to only 20 digs from Florida Memorial. The Bobcats also tallied 6 aces in the match.
STU moves to 3-0 on the season and hasn't surrendered a set thus far. The Bobcats will welcome Broward CC to the Fernandez Center Wednesday, September 15 for a 7 PM match.
