STU Women’s Basketball score 102 points to knock off Edwards Waters College

Jacksonville, Fla.— STU Women's Basketball score 102 points to knock off Edwards Waters College on Friday night. #02 Maddie Cummings was an offensive machine scoring 36 points to lead the Bobcats to victory.

Cummings shot 92 % from the 3 point line, shot 12-15 overall, grabbed 5 rebounds and 2 steals in just 23 minutes. She breaks two school records previously set by Assistant Coach Cindy Castrillon, most points in a single game and most 3 pointers made in a single game. Maddie will also rank second in NAIA history for most 3 points in a single game. This win marks STU's third win by a margin of 39 or more points. #25 Dannisha Pierce also recorded another double double for the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds. #11 Antonella Marino had 11 points, 4 steals and dished 5 assists. Senior, #20 Santana Lennon added 10 points to the win as well.

The Bobcats improve to 10-7 overall. With no turnaround time, the ladies return to action January 22nd, 2011 as they travel to Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida for a game at 2 PM. Go Bobcats!
