Miami Garderns, Fla.— STU beat Ave Maria in Overtime! The Bobcats topped AMU by a score of 73 to 65.  #15 David Nesbitt led all scores with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block.

#20 Jeffrey Remmington came off the bench to score 18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. STU shot 50% from the field in the first half to lead by 9 at halftime. AMU forced STU into 16 turnovers, allowing them to win the second half by 9 points. At the end of two halves the game was tied 61-61. In overtime, the Bobcats outscored the Gyrenes by 9 points to grab the victory. #02 Zackary Hackett also added 5 assists in the win.

For the Gyrenes, #11 Chris Scanlan totaled 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. STU shots 80 % from the free throw line and AMU shot 44%, while the Bobcats remained victorious with a new record of 11-8 and 5-4 in the conference.
