Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The St. Thomas men's soccer team improved to 5-1 in Sun Conference play with a 1-0 overtime win at Southeastern in Lakeland, Fla. on Thursday.  Senior Jhonathan Rico scored the game winning goal 6:27 into the first overtime.  It marked the tenth goal of the season and the 36^th in the STU career for the Cali, Colombia native.  Rico has scored the game winning goal in STU's last four conference wins.
 
The score was deadlocked at 0-0 for regulation with goalkeeper Lyle Howe protecting the STU shutout throughout.  In the 97^th minute, the Bobcats finally connected as junio rmidfielder Ignacio Mateos fed Rico a pass in the middle of the penalty box.  Rico then made a shot to the far post for the golden goal.
 
The Bobcats return to action on Sunday at 4 p.m. with a home Sun Conference match vs. Ave Maria at Bobcat Field.
