Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The St. Thomas men's soccer team fell to Florida Tech, 1-0, in the regular season opener for both teams, Friday afternoon at Bobcat Field.  The Bobcats and the Panthers were scoreless until the 79th minute when FIT scored the game winner.  St. Thomas played a man down for over 60 minutes from the 28:55 mark of the first half through the end of regualtion.

Both teams were stron defensively in the first half with a mere seven shots combined between the two teams.  Florida Tech benefited from the man advantage in the second half however, outshooting the Bobcats 13-1 in the final period.

St. Thomas returns to action against Florida Southern at 4 p.m. this Tuesday at Bobcat Field.
