BOBCATS WIN AT NORTHWOOD, NOW 2-0 IN CONFERENCE

Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The St. Thomas women's volleyball team continued its winning ways with a 3-0 road victory in Sun Conference play at Northwood on Tuesday night in West Palm Beach, Fla.  The Bobcats (6-2 overall, 2-0 conference) won for the fourth time in their last five matches, defeating the Seahawks in straight sets, 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.
 
Sophomore Taylor Allgeier with 11 kills and Jordan Wiese with six service axes led the Bobcats.   Defensively, Angie Ardiles and Wiese each had six digs to lead the team with Allgeier chipping in with three digs.  Setter Linett Perez recorded 24 assists with Wiese contributing four assists.
 
St. Thomas returns to action on Friday night at 7 p.m. with a matchup against No. 8 Embry-Riddle at the Fernandez Family Center.  The Bobcats will try to end Embry-Riddle's streak of 56 straight regular-season Sun Conference wins.
