Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The St. Thomas women's soccer team continued to roll over Sun Conference oppenents with a dominating 7-0 win over Ave Maria on Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Field. Leading the Bobcats was senior forward
Sara Mira scored her 16th and 17th goals of the year to take the lead in goals scored in the conference. Mira also leads the Sun Conference in total points and assists.
On the day, Mira totaled one goal and one assist for three points. Her goal came on a penalty kick in the 16th minute of action. Later in the half, she registered her 10th assist of the season. In the second half, Mira was successful on a second penalty kick.

Ana Parra scored her first career goal in the 28th minute to make the score 4-0.
Amanda Trujillo then scored her second goal of the game in the 29th minute to give her the first mulit-goal game of her career.
With the win, the Bobcats improved to 10-1-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play with their only loss coming on the road fifth-ranked Northwood in overtime. The Gyrenes dropped to 5-6-1 overall and 1-4 in the Sun Conference.
St. Thomas will conclude its home schedule with Senior Day on Saturday, October 19 at 4 p.m. vs. Florida Memorial. Nine seniors are on the STU roster this season, all of whom will be honored in a special pre-game ceremony. All parents and families of STU students will be admitted free on October 19th as part of a special Parents and Families Appreciation Day.
