Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Senior guard Kevin Hincapie scored a career-high 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting including five three pointers to lead St. Thomas to a 87-79 win over Ave Maria Saturday at the Fernandez Family Center. With the win, the 19th ranked Bobcats improved to 15-4 overall and 8-1 in The Sun Conference.

St. Thomas trailed 34-33 at the intermission before outscoring Ave Maria 54-45 in the second half on 75% shooting from the field. In the second half, Hincapie hit all five of his three-pointers en route to 23 points in the stanza.

Reigning National Player of the Week Floyd Battle added 19 points, while Demonte' Simpson came off the bench came off the bench to score 14 points and pull down a game-high seven rebounds.

St. Thomas returns to Sun Conference action on Wednesday with a road game at Southeastern.
