DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - St. Thomas (1-9, 1-2 TSC) dropped its second conference match 4-1 to Embry-Riddle (1-2-2, 1-1 TSC) Wednesday night at Embry-Riddle Soccer Stadium. The Bobcats allowed four goals to the Eagles, while scoring a goal of their own in the first half.

St. Thomas was able to strike first as Olando Lawrence put the Bobcats on the board in the 12th minute. Lawrence attacked with a lofted shot 50 yards out that ERAU goalkeeper Nils Carlson mishandled to put STU ahead 1-0.

ERAU responded five minutes later to tie the game with a goal by Moriba Ballah off a Lewis Blackmore assist. The Eagles were able to post two more goals in the first half to extend their lead to two at the end of the half. Embry-Riddle quickly struck again seven minutes into the second half to bring the lead to three goals and secure the victory for the Eagles. STU goalkeeper Jack Hubbad was able to post four saves, but it wasn't enough to fend off the Embry-Riddle strkes.

The Bobcats take some time off and return to action in nine days on October 10, when they play another conference match against SCAD in Savannah, GA.
