BOCA RATON, Fla. - St. Thomas (1-2) battled against Division I opponent Florida Atlantic University in an exhibition game at 4 p.m. The Owls defeated the Bobcats 60-73 in the hard fought matchup.

STU gave their best effort as Michael Walker led the scoring with 20 points with Chuckie Becton right behind him with 15. James Vice grabbed a team high eight boards for the day with Lorel Beckford right behind him with six. Miguel Martin had the lone block for the Bobcats on the day, while Vice and Walker both produced a team high two steals for the team. The team shot a 35 field goal percentage and had a 15 three point percentage for the day.

The Bobcats head home to the Fernandez Family Center for the next game against Florida National University set for Wednesday at 7 p.m.
