Box Score AVE MARIA, Fla. - Despite already clinching the regular season conference championship and the top seed in conference tournament, the 11th ranked St. Thomas men's basketball team continued its winning ways with a 78-73 win at Ave Maria on Saturday night.  The Bobcats, who head into the postseason on an eight-game winning streak, concluded the regular season with a 23-5 overall record and a 16-2 record in The Sun Conference.

On Saturday, four players scored in double figures for the Bobcats led by 22 points by senior Demetris Allen 7-of-12 shooting from the field including five three-pointers in just 16 minutes of play.  Senior center Demonte' Sumpson had 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting, while seniors Khaalis Coppock-Bey and Davorn Bryant each added 10 points.

Up next is The Sun Conference Championship Presented by Olympus Insurance as St. Thomas hosts a quarterfinals game on Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center. STU will play the winner of Thursday's game between Florida Memorial and Ave Maria.
