Box Score Women's Basketball: St. Thomas 60, Webber International 50
BABSON PARK, Fla. – St. Thomas remained in first place in The Sun Conference with a 60-50 win over host Webber International Thursday in Babson Park, Fla. With the win, the Bobcats improved to 10-2 in league play and 13-10 overall.

Daniella Ciccarone led STU with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Junior
Antishia Wright had an all-around performance with a stat line of six points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three blocked shots and two steals.Â
Jessika Montalvo scored 11 points, making three shots from beyond the arc.

The Bobcats used several scoring runs throughout the contest to notch the road win. The game started as WIU took a 8-0 lead in the first four minutes of play and led 14-5 after nine minutes. A three-pointer by Ciccarone ignited a 10-0 run that was finished off by a three-pointer by
Meghan Gavin to give the Bobcats their first lead of the game. A 7-0 run by WIU came next, but the Bobcats responded by closing off the half with an 11-0 run and a 25-21 lead at intermission.

In the second half, the Warriors battled back to take a 35-33 lead with 13 minutes to play. The Bobcats pulled away with an 11-2 run capped off by a
Jasmin Sakers layup off an assist by Wright. STU held the lead the rest of the way en route to a season sweep over the Warriors.

St. Thomas continues Sun Conference play with a road game at Warner on Saturday in Lake Wales, Fla.
