Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. – It took overtime to do it, but no. 13 St. Thomas came away with a 84-76 win over host Warner on Saturday to keep hold of first place in The Sun Conference. With the win, the Bobcats improved to 19-5 overall and 12-2 in conference play.

The game went into overtime after being tied in regulation at 73-73. The teams traded baskets until a steal and a fast break reverse lay up by senior
Kevin Hincapie gave the Bobcats a 77-75 lead with 2:37 to play in the extra period. The Hincapie lay-up was the start of a 9-1 run that closed out the overtime and gave the Bobcats the road win.
The Bobcats spread their scoring around with all ten players that saw action recording points. Â
Davorn Bryant came off the bench to score a team14 points, while
Demetris Allen (11 pts),
Chuckie Becton (11 pts) and
Khaalis Coppock-Bey (10 pts) also scored in double figures.
STU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding WU 44-31 including a 17-6 advantage on the offensive glass. Â
Lorel Beckford was the game's leading rebounder with nine, including offensive. Â All ten Bobcats that saw action also grabbed at least one rebound.
St. Thomas returns to action on Wednesday with a home game vs. sixth ranked Embry-Riddle at the Fernandez Family Center. The game is part of STU's Homecoming Week and fans are encouraged to wear the color white to the contest. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. Â
